First and foremost, why do you want to use article and content marketing to get traffic to your website? Article marketing allows you to write about anything you like and is also considered very relevant according to search engines like Google. The more content you have available, the more chances you have for people to visit your website. The more relevant you are, the more likely the search engines will display your content. But it is important that you follow the strategy I'm about to show you for this work properly.
Before you discover my secret article marketing strategy you have to know how search engine results are produced. We will stick with Google. Google views your website and webpages based on the importance and 'authority' of the website. This importance and 'authority' is determined by all the other websites you have linking to your content. The more back links you have linking to your relevant content, the more 'authority' your website will have. You could have the best website in the world, but Google will not rank it high unless there are other websites linking to it. There is more to search engine optimization than this, but it is all you need to know for now. So what this article marketing strategy will allow you to do is create more back-links to your main source of content and in turn rank you higher on Google's organic search listings.
Here are the four steps that will allow you to rank on the first page of Google for keywords of your choice. This is absolutely not hypothesis or theory. This is a highly effective article marketing strategy I use and consider it to be one of the best and easiest article marketing strategies available.
1. Produce an original piece of content. I would recommend putting this on a Word Press hosted blog. If you don't have a Word Press blog, make sure get one ASAP. Most web hosting sites offer a one-click Word Press install feature when you host your website with them.
2. Book mark your content using a social book-marking tool. This tool is OnlyWire.com This tool allows you to book mark your content to up to 27 social book-marking websites. There are hundreds of social book-marking websites, but this tool allows you to submit them to 27 all at once, without having to submit to each one individually. OnlyWire is a paid tool, but is free if you use it on a Word Press blog. Go onto your Word Press blog's dashboard and search for the OnlyWire plug-in. Click the install button and you are done.
3. Create a video about your content and promote your video through video sharing websites. There is a tool for this as well, actually two options you can use. If you want to use the free one use TubeMogul.com. A paid option is TrafficGeyser.com Both of these allow you to upload a video and submit it to multiple video sharing websites automatically. TubeMogul allows you to upload a video and it gets sent out to 26 video sharing sites. Traffic Geyser offers much more functionality and features, and at the time this is being written allows you to submit your video to 25 video sharing sites, 11 social networking sites, 2 blog sites, 5 social book-marking sites, 4 status sites and 41 article submission sites for a grand total of 87 websites all at once.
4. Write an article and then submit it to over 300 article directories stating your content is now available. This can be accomplished using article submission software. This tool costs money, but the small investment is worth the gigantic return. There are many article submission software tools, but only one that I found that gets the job done right the first time. This is the Automatic Article Submitter and is far superior compared to the rest of the competition, who comes up short with their software.
What this four step process does is simple. It directs all of the backlinks to your original content that will more than likely be at your blog. You can use this four step process to rank videos high in search engines or just about any kind of content including Squidoo lenses, press releases and articles. Once this easy four step process is completed you can have a total of up to 414 backlinks that point directly back to your content and gives your website 'authority,' increasing the relevance of your website based on the keywords and keyword phrases you want to target. This article marketing strategy saves you so much time and will get your content ranked very high on Google in a short amount of time.
