The Numis Network is a network marketing company that promotes the collecting of coins while pairing this with a business opportunity. Numis understands that most people have a passion for money and creating wealth. They also realize that many people already collect coins aka numismatists . So this leads us to wonder, "is the Numis Network just an over-hyped coin collection business tied into network marketing?"
I'd say probably not, but it is too soon to tell. Even though Numis is relatively new, the approach will likely catch on and many people will see the value of their core product. In addition, like other companies using this business model, the compensation plan will be enticing to some. Then again, maybe the whole idea will flop and Numis joins the graves of companies who came and went. Honestly, just from reviewing their main website there are a few things that bother me. The main thing that popped out at me was how Numis claims it is so easy to experience success with this company. The short video says that all you have to do is direct people to your replicated website and instruct people to click join now. I almost fell of my chair laughing uncontrollably! This is miles away from the truth. Successful building a network marketing business is not as easy as Numis make it sound and it's obvious how testing it can be just from the high failure rate that currently exists in the industry. I believe Numis is reaching to a degree. Just because people are coin collectors does not mean they would join a company like this or participate on the business side of things.
A Good Product Or Just Another Bill Each Month?
This is an excellent question and one that gets asked very frequently among Numis leads and prospects. Again, it really is too soon to pass judgment. The product is the Numis coin collection. You are supposed to buy these coins and then people who join you buy coins. Sure this is enticing to numismatists but I honestly don't see this catching on to enough people where it could become very lucrative for members. Again, it is too soon to tell. Numis was launched mid 2009 and we will have to wait and see how they fare, especially with the current economical state.. The value of the U.S. dollar is losing hold, so maybe this would be an enticing selling point to get people to join. This way, Numis members would be able to back their money with their coin collection in silver. Numis states they will eventually offer gold coins, but I'll believe it when I see it.
Growing Your Numis Business
For members of Numis or those considering to join you might want to think about something. The primary way to market this business, and the only way recommended by most network marketing companies is to market the opportunity and product by word-of-mouth. You will first be encouraged to contact your warm market, including your family and friends and anyone else you come in contact with. Just one big problem though. The majority of the people you marketing to are not really searching for Numis or a business opportunity for that matter. You will notice yourself trying to persuade people rather then letting them make a decision for themselves. The best option will be to try and target coin collectors and business seekers. And do not believe the hype on Numis' main website. It is not as easy as you just directing people to your company website and them signing up. Work on connecting with people and building relationships. Your marketing is the most cruical thing you can work on.
